Develop your career with Helping Hands

Career development is very important to us at Helping Hands and we look to provide opportunities to all of our staff to improve their knowledge and develop their skills.

This can be achieved in a number of different ways including workshops such as dementia care and complex care, through online learning via Learning Pool and by reading books and articles and through coaching from colleagues and managers. We also provide every member of Helping Hands with the opportunity to complete nationally recognised qualifications after six months within the company.

Develop your career with Helping Hands

At Helping Hands we have a great track record of promoting from within the company. Every member of the Helping Hands staff has a one-to-one meeting with their manager at least every 12 weeks. One of these meetings will be their annual appraisal during which there is a special focus on your development and how you would like to develop your career in care.

If you would like to discuss learning and development opportunities for your career in care, your manager will be happy to talk to you and give you ideas and guidance as to how you can grow in your role. Helping Hands also has an award-winning training team who are on hand to provide support and training resources.

If you can be the best carer you can be, then we will be the best company to support you and develop your career in care – apply online and make your first approach to the Helping Hands family.
