Due to Covid it was difficult to find home care for my aunt and Helping Hands had availability and Jeanette the manager visited and made the arrangements for my aunt to return home. I live in the south and need to rely on an efficient, caring and reliable organisation to look after my aunt and am delighted that Helping Hands meets all these requirements. If there are any issues the carers or Jeanette contact me to discuss. The carers are friendly and trustworthy and my aunt is very happy with the care she receives and it means she has a routine and also has got to know her carers. I would definitely recommend Helping hands.

My Dad has been receiving home visits from Helping Hands in Accrington for the past 12 months and he, along with the whole family, is highly satisfied with the service provided. The carers are reliable and have never missed a visit. They are on time and always polite, caring, friendly, and compassionate. They always wear full PPE and make hygiene a priority. The communication from the office is excellent. The carers have, on a couple of occasions, highlighted concerns about my Dad via the office, which shows that they genuinely care and it has enabled my Mum and I to take action on things that we may have otherwise missed. New staff members receive training from one of the existing carers before being left alone to care for my Dad, which demonstrates how important customer care is to this company. The office is also extremely flexible and accommodating with the rota, and admin staff will always go out of their way to try and help if ever Dad requires any time changes. In particular we have received an outstanding service from the Branch Manager (Jeanette Shurmer) who has been available immediately any time that we have needed any help, support, or advice. She delivers exemplary customer care consistently, and it is clear that her high standards are cascaded to her team. My Dad means the world to my Mum, and to the whole family, and we are so very pleased that we found the lovely team at Helping Hands, who we can trust implicitly to look after him.

I have currently started working for Helping Hands 5 weeks ago. The support, encouragement and training is brilliant from management and staff at Accrington Branch. Each home that we visit has different needs. The feeling that you can help makes a difference. Although I am working, it never feels like it. The appreciation I receive from management and service users is amazing. It inspires you to do more. Working for Helping Hands Accrington has made a great difference in my personal well being. I can honestly say I love my job. Fantastic branch to work for.

It has been a joy to have carers from Helping Hands. Nothing seems to be too much trouble and they have built up a great rapport with my sister. It makes my life so much easier to know that she is so well cared for and that I can relax when they are with her. They have also provided live in care on one occasion, so far, and this was also a success.
