What does our assisted living support include?
Assisted living allows you to receive the care you need without having to leave the home you truly love. After all, it’s a place that brings comfort, joy, and calmness; we don’t want to take that away from you. This is why our compassionate carers come to your doorstep.
Our carers can help you get dressed in the mornings, have dinner ready on the table, put the bins out, feed the goldfish and even walk the dog. Whatever you need, we will always be there for you.
At Helping Hands, we have been providing home care in Blackpool and across the UK for many years, so rest assured you will be in good and capable hands. Plus, we are fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales, which means we take our jobs very seriously and will provide you with the highest level of care you’d expect from the UK’s most widely trusted home care provider.

Qualified carers providing assisted living in Blackpool
Our carers who provide assisted living undergo an intensive training programme, so they are fully qualified to provide the care you need. They learn all the essential skills to look after you the right way. We also ensure all our carers complete a background check. This includes a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and references from previous employers. So, don’t worry, you will be cared for by someone you can really trust.

When to consider assisted living
If you are living with a condition that limits you from carrying out certain household tasks or running errands, assisted living can be the care package you need. Or perhaps your loved ones don’t live nearby and need someone to check in on you occasionally, we can step in to help. No matter what condition you are living with or your circumstances, we can provide you with the support you need for as long as you require.

How much does assisted living cost?
We provide assisted living on a visiting basis, which means you can receive care from as little as 30 minutes a week. It is ideal for short visits during the week. Costs start from £31.00 per hour with a call-out charge of £4.50, which covers your carer’s travel.
You can also receive round-the-clock support with live-in care in Blackpool, with prices starting from £1,675 per week for a single person and £1,675 per week for a couple. So, if you and your partner need care, this can be arranged.
For more information on arranging assisted living in Blackpool, call our customer care team today. They are available online too, seven days a week. Or pop into our local branch and you can speak to a member of our team in person.
