Domiciliary care
When you receive care in your own home it’s often referred to as domiciliary care and it comes in many forms. You may receive your care on a visiting basis, from 30 minutes per week or however long per day you need us, short-term respite care, overnight, in an emergency or even live-in care, where one of our fantastic carers resides with you in your home. Perhaps you’d just like us there for companionship from time to time, to have a natter over a cup of tea; the choice is yours. Your personalised support plan will detail every aspect of your care, meaning that you’ll always have consistency from your small regular team of carers who you’ll quickly get to know well.
Welcoming someone you don’t know into your home and life may seem a little daunting at first, however our carers are experts in what they do, having trained extensively when they first join us and having many opportunities to upskill their knowledge during their time with us. This means that you’ll have a compassionate and empathetic person caring for you, as we carefully select all of our carers to make sure they have those qualities naturally. We also protect you by screening all of our carers through the Disclosure and Barring Service before they can enter your home and in addition, because we are fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales, you and your loved ones can have full confidence e in our consistently high standards of care delivery.
