At Helping Hands, we believe in being upfront about our costs as we want to ensure you aren’t faced with any unpleasant charges. Our customers are our main focus and our empathetic carers work hard to help them live the life they aspire to lead. After all, you’re the one in control.
Our Bromsgrove care team offers two types of care packages: visiting care and live in care. Whichever package you choose, we will ensure you are provided with the very best care.
Visiting care costs
With visiting care, our carers can visit you from 30 minutes a week to several trips a day. Our carers can support you with bathing in the mornings, preparing dinner in the evening or making sure your milk is ready just before bedtime. Prices for visiting care start from £22.29 per hour, with a call-out fee of £4.25 to cover travel. The prices of your package will depend on your location and needs, and they may vary for overnight care that is provided during weekends and bank holidays.
Live-in care costs
With live-in care, you’ll have one of our dedicated carers stay with you at home, so you can have support 24-hours a day. Our live-in carers do everything a visiting carer does, but are on hand whenever you need them. Whether you need support with the cleaning, the laundry or filling the cat bowl with milk, our carers will promise to support you for as long as you need. Prices start from £1,460 per week for a single person and £1,700 per week for a couple.
When it comes to funding and costs, our specialist customer care team is available to advise you to see what funding options are available to you. You may be entitled to funding from your local authority or the NHS, however this all depends on your situation. We understand setting up care can take a toll on your expenses however, there are funding and benefit entitlements that may be available to you. For example, our customers are eligible for Attendance Allowance and Pension credit if they are 65 and over. Or you may be entitled to heating benefits or council tax reduction.
