When to choose live in care
We recommend live-in care for anyone in Cheshire who is considering going into full-time care. Staying at home and having your carer come to live with you, rather than moving into residential care, means you won’t have to sacrifice your entire way of life just to receive the support you need. Instead, your care will be provided around the way you want to spend your time – it’ll just be like having a friendly someone in your home to help you keep on top of the chores, offer support with any symptoms you may be living with, assist with mobility, prepare your meals, and so much more.

Expert care tailored to your needs
One of the main advantages of remaining at home for your care is that it can be completely tailored to your specific needs and wishes – down to even the tiniest little details. We know that often the small things, such as having your cushions arranged a certain way, taking your tea with one sugar rather than two and eating lunch at a particular time, can make all the difference to how a day goes. That’s why your care plan will include as much information about the way you like things to be done as you’d like it to. Of course, we also design your live-in care plan around any medical needs you may have, and all of our carers are expertly trained to provide nurse-led support, so we’ll make sure we’re helping you to live as comfortably, confidently and independently as possible.

FAQs
Live-in care means a trained Helping Hands carer lives in your own Cheshire home and supports you around the clock with daily tasks, personal care, medication and companionship. It is a one-to-one alternative to a care home that lets you stay in familiar surroundings.
It suits people in Cheshire who need regular or 24-hour support but want to stay at home, including older people, couples who want to stay together, and people living with dementia, limited mobility or a long-term condition.
Your carer supports personal care, washing and dressing, medication, meal preparation, mobility, housekeeping, getting out and about, and companionship. Care is built around your routine rather than a fixed shift pattern.
Live-in care is charged weekly and depends on the level of support you need. Cheshire live-in care starts from £1,675 per week for one person, or £2,125 per week for a couple. We give a clear written quote after a free care assessment, with no hidden fees.
For one person it is often comparable, and for couples it is frequently better value because two people are supported for close to the cost of one. We will talk you through the figures for your situation in Cheshire.
Yes. Our Cheshire live-in care is regulated and inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and every carer is trained, vetted and DBS-checked before they start.
Once we have completed your free assessment we can usually arrange care quickly, including urgent and emergency situations. Call our Cheshire team to talk through timings.
