Home care in Hampstead
Visiting care and home care in Hampstead
Hampstead is famous for being the residence of many notable people over the years, such as writers, artists and stage actors. It is considered a jewel in the metropolis, a beautiful green space with picturesque lanes and historic buildings which lead to London’s largest ancient parkland, the famous Heath.
At Helping Hands, we celebrate the beauty of the places where we care for people and encourage our customers to make the most of their surroundings, too. That’s because we’re not just here for the practical tasks – we’re also here to make your days out as enjoyable as possible too. And with the Care Quality Commission regulating all of our visiting and live-in care services, you’ll certainly be in the very best hands with us.

Meet the Hampstead care team
Branch Care Manager
I am responsible for ensuring the service is safe and fully compliant with all legal regulations and am accountable for the overall leadership of the service. I line manage a team of a Care Coordinator, and two Care & Training Practitioners, and ensure our carers are managed effectively. I am responsible for business development for my branch and ensuring the service is viable by working with key stakeholders within the business and reviewing our business and marketing plans. I volunteered at a day centre for adults with learning difficulties in my late teens and decided then that I wanted a career supporting people to live a fulfilling life. I feel proud of the service we provide and the carers we have are all very reliable and enjoy the work that they do. I love to read and I love to travel, as well as enjoying spending time with friends and family.

Other care we provide
High quality home care in Hampstead
Our home care is industry-leading and appreciated by our customers for making such a positive difference to their lives. You only have to read some of our Trustpilot reviews to see that. Remaining at home when you need additional support is fast becoming the UK’s preference over care homes, and it’s not hard to see why. Having carers come to you means you can remain in the place you love, with familiar people, pets and views surrounding you every day.
24/7 live in care support
Live-in care means you can remain living in your home while being supported around the clock. If you’re struggling to manage your everyday routine or you are feeling lonely since the loss of a loved one, live-in care is a great alternative to moving into a care home. And if you have high-level needs or are struggling after an accident or illness, having someone living with you will make such a difference to your life.
Why Helping Hands is better than a care agency in Hampstead
Whether we’re better or not isn’t the question really, the fact is we’re so far removed from what a care agency does that the point is moot. Care agencies work by having a list of clients and carers and then ‘matching’ them when the client needs care. The trouble is, they’re not employed by the agency, they’d rather leave that complication to you. At Helping Hands we employ all of our carers directly and don’t leave you with hidden fees you weren’t expecting.
Qualified carers providing a variety of care services in Hampstead
We make sure that our carers always have access to the very latest learning and development opportunities, as we feel that’s one of the ways we are head and shoulders above our competitors. All of our learning is done in-house through our dedicated Helping Hands Academy, and we offer courses and qualifications that can be achieved while working and can be applied to the role they’re working in. We also love to promote from within whenever possible.
