At Helping Hands, we have been providing compassionate and exceptional care for thousands of families across England and Wales since 1989. We have been supporting many people living with different types of conditions including dementia. Being diagnosed with dementia can leave you feeling distressed, frustrated, upset and lost. But rest assured, you can rely on our Hastings care dementia specialists to provide you with the emotional and physical support you need, without having to move into a residential care home.
We believe that homes are more than just buildings, they are treasure troves packaged with memories and cherished possessions. Remaining at home can help reduce dementia-related symptoms including confusion and anxiety, as you are in a familiar environment and a place you love most. You’ll also be able to stay close to your loved ones and have the control to live life on your terms, without disrupting your routine.
As a Dementia Champion accredited provider, we understand what it takes to care for someone living with dementia and the effects it can have on their loved ones. We take time to understand your personality, culture and interests, as it is important to take care of your mind, body and spirit. So, whether you like to go to your favourite café for a cuppa or enjoy sitting in the garden, our wonderful carers are here to support you with whatever you need.
You can choose from our visiting care and live-in care package. Our visits start from 30 minutes a week to several visits a day. It allows you to receive support in your home when you want. We will work around your routine. If you need constant, round-the-clock care then you can opt for our live-in care package.
Our carers are truly one in a million. They work hard every single day to help our customers and their families cope with the challenges of living with dementia. Our amazing carers can provide additional support, so you can focus on the things you love most. All our carers have undertaken extensive training to ensure they have to right skills to provide you with the best possible care you deserve. For your peace of mind, our carers go through a Disclosure and Barring Service check, so you know you will be safe in your own home.
