Helping Hands Head Office

Alcester is a picture postcard town, with a High Street that can lead you to imagine you’re walking through a film set or straight into the past. With architecture from various periods throughout history, including the Medieval, Tudor, Georgian and Victorian styles, the oldest house is believed to be The Old Malthouse at the corner of Church Street and Malt Mill Lane, dating from around 1500.

Care services from Helping Hands

We offer two main types of care; visiting care and live in care.

Visiting care:

Visiting care is the perfect solution when you want to continue living as independently as possible in the home you love, but you require extra support to achieve every aspect of your day-to-day life. Whether you have low level care needs or you’re living with a life-limiting condition, we can support you fully, as our professional, compassionate carers will be with you every step of the way. Even if you require nursing care we can be there, as our team of clinical nurses can guide and supervise our specialist carers. What’s more, they can support you with all manners of personal care – such as support with showering/bathing and getting dressed, mobility support, preparing meals and nutritional support, companionship, as well as other bespoke tasks that you may need help with. Your local branch manager will be pleased to come and talk to you in your own home about the kind of support we can offer, or you can talk to our friendly customer care team based at our head office too.

Live-in care:

As the name suggests, with live-in care one of our compassionate, professional carers resides in your home with you, providing support, companionship and reassurance around the clock. This means you get to retain your independence and live the life you want to lead, all while receiving extra support with every aspect of your day-to-day life, regardless of the severity of your condition. We support customers who require dementia care, those with complex medical needs, younger adults who require support with their higher education, and any circumstances you could imagine. With live-in care, you get to live the life you want in the home you love, with the peace of mind for you and your loved ones that you’ll always have the highest levels of support.
