By the time of the Domesday Book in 1086, there was already a small settlement at Kenilworth, and today it has grown to be an established market town.
Helping Hands are familiar with small beginnings, as when we were founded in 1989, we had just one branch, in Alcester, Warwickshire. Today, we are established all across England and Wales, where our home care service can come to you from just 30 minutes a week, or our carers can live-in with you around the clock.
Quality care at home
From short term support to longer term visits and live-in care, our Kenilworth team can help.
We've been caring for people for decades, helping them maintain their independence and continue to live well in the homes and communities they love.

My role as Area Care Manager is to oversee the Central region, ensuring that new branches are set up safely and are providing a quality service to customers, and ensuring that branch care managers feel supported in their roles to do this.
I started in care 20+ years ago as a care worker whilst studying at university. This was to gain experience in a customer-facing role and because I have a passion for caring for people with various disabilities. After finishing university, I continued in the care sector as I enjoyed supporting people to live their way in their own home. I worked my way up to a care coordinator, registered care manager and then managing multiple sites as a director of services.
I took on the role at Helping Hands as head of care as their values align with me, the main one being KINDNESS. At Helping Hands, we believe in providing a quality, safe and effective service to our customers and recruiting the best talent to enable us to do this. Just like the customer, we value our staff by being flexible for them and providing them with extensive training to do their role and progress within the organisation; as head of care, this makes me proud to work here!
I champion dignity in care and believe that everyone should be treated with dignity - this is a basic human right and not an added extra.

As the Regional Care Director, it is my role to lead a hugely skilled care team operating in London, Essex and the South East, ensuring the highest levels of care are being delivered to our customers on a daily basis. We have a large branch network equipped to deal with all your hourly care needs, and I am also the Registered Manager with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for our live-in program, where we are set up to support you on a more permanent basis.
I am inspired on a daily basis by the true lengths my colleagues go to, to ensure that customers can continue to live long, healthy lives from the comfort of their own homes. This is one of the main reasons that inspired me to join care.
Our Reviews
Fully regulated by the CQC
Our Kenilworth branch is fully regulated and accredited by the CQC
Your package of visiting care will be accompanied by a personalised support plan, which ensures that your routines and preferences are respected at all times. Our compassionate and dedicated carers can support with personal care, meal preparation, housework and more, as well as accompanying you to activities and appointments in the community. Our carers go above and beyond to ensure that you get to live your best life possible in your own beloved home.
Kenilworth live-in care to support you
If you’re living with complex care needs and would benefit from one of our live-in carers under the supervision of our clinical nurses, they can train your especially chosen carer so that they thoroughly understand all of your requirements. This can be invaluable if you want to avoid having to move into a care home and stay in the home you love. Equally, you can benefit greatly from live-in care if you’d appreciate around-the-clock companionship and help with tasks such as housework, laundry and personal care.
Better than a care agency in Kenilworth
We understand the importance of maintaining control over your care, which is why our Birmingham home care team can provide a tailored private care package to help you continue with your usual routine.
Otherwise known as care at home, this level of care will allow you to have the freedom to choose the assistance that you need, when you need it. Regular home visits, from 45 minutes to several hours a day, can be arranged with our Birmingham team to help you with a variety of everyday tasks, including personal care, housekeeping tasks and clinical care, including catheter and stoma management and PEG feeding.
Domiciliary care suited to you
With domiciliary care, you get the best of both worlds: being able to receive the care you need in the home you love, while having your independence promoted constantly. Our carers can come to you from just 30 minutes a week up to full-time care, so we guarantee we’ll be able to care for your needs. With no set mealtimes or having to get up when someone is free, rather than when you want to, care at home is the perfect solution, and your flexible package of care is dictated by you, not us. This means we’ll be supporting you to live your very best life possible at all times, on your terms.
Dementia care at home
When you’ve been diagnosed with dementia, we can help you to live your best life possible at home. Offering practical help such as personal care, meal preparation and mobility support, as well as emotional support with creating, preserving and reflecting on memories, our compassionate dementia care can make such a difference to your daily life. Whether you’ve recently been diagnosed or you’re further along your journey, we can assist you to feel safe and comfortable in the home you love.
Respite care tailored to you
If you’re not keen on going into residential care, even temporarily, but your carer needs to take a well-earned break, respite care from Helping Hands is the answer. Our carers can come at pre-arranged times around the clock or even live in your home, offering support with your daily routine, such as medication, meal preparation and personal care. Even in an emergency, we can help – getting care into your home within 24 hours.
Elderly care for extra help at home
We can become a little frailer as we age, which can make coping with daily tasks more difficult. Whether you’re recovering from a fall, have joint pain or just aren’t as strong as you were, elderly care from Helping Hands can help to take the strain of daily life from your shoulders. Don’t continue to struggle when our compassionate carers could be supporting you with housework, personal care, meal preparation and much more.

We train them so that they’ll always prioritise your care, and they work tirelessly to make our customers feel comfortable and safe at home.
