Visiting care and home care in Kettering
Over the centuries, Kettering has been spelt in various different ways including Cytringan, Kyteringas and Keteiringan in the 10th century. The meaning of the name apparently suggests "the place (or territory) of Ketter's people (or kinsfolk)" in Anglo-Saxon.
Our name is synonymous with ‘belonging’ too, as Helping Hands has cared for over 40,000 customers since 1989, helping them to stay in the place they love. Our live-in care service can give you care and companionship around the clock, whereas our visiting service is available from just 30 minutes a week, so no matter what your needs are, we can help.

Quality care at home
From short term support to longer term visits and live-in care, our Kettering team can help.
We've been caring for people for decades, helping them maintain their independence and continue to live well in the homes and communities they love.
Over 155 branches across the UK means we're local to you.
Regulated by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales, giving you peace of mind that we meet the highest standards of service and care.
Thousands of our customers have shared their experiences of care with us on customer review site Trustpilot with Helping Hands rated 4.7 out of 5.
We only employ those special people with the right levels of patience, empathy, and compassion to care for you as we'd want our own families to be cared for.
We know that good care means something different to each of us. That's why we take the time to get to know you and your family to understand your needs and preferences.
When finding care becomes a decision for the wider family, we can help you consider your options. We keep in touch once care is in place so we can adapt care as needs change.
