Right from my initial enquiry the team at Helping Hands stood out from the many others I had called. Eleanor at HQ was professional, understanding and responsive. Her part in the journey was excellent. At our initial face to face meeting it was clear to see Helping Hands were client centred, thorough in the information they both shared and gathered, which I found very reassuring. Then once the care plan had been agreed, the team that visit are wonderful. With 4 visits a week we’ve experienced some fabulous care givers who are organised, skilled and most importantly caring in their delivery. The team at the Leeds office are super helpful if we need to amend a visit or even add in an extra one, they regularly check in with us to see how things are going and I feel very pleased that we have such a thoughtful service caring for my Dad. We are delighted that we chose Helping hands and I would definitely recommend Helping Hands to other people. Thank you.

My mum uses helping hands leeds for her care all the carers have been great nothing is a problem or too much very well trained and always know what to do for there job and in a problem called office a few times to charge my call time due to appointments and nothing was a problem all staff great helpful and really friendly would definitely recommend

I'm happy with the care my husband receives. from his carers the feel like an extended family.the only think is communication from the office to let us knowif they are going to be late would help.otherwise no complaints.

Very efficient and caring. In the short time they have been providing care for my mother they have gone the extra mile. For example last week I was unable to contact Mum. Her phone was ringing continuously which caused concern. I rang the office at 4pm. The carer was due around 5 30pm but one of the girls in the office went round straight away and within 10 mins was reassured Mum was safe and had a fault on the phone. Also they e mail the rota each week so I can let Mum know what time to expect the carers. I have only met one carer and she is so lovely and caring. Arrives on time and so sweet and kind. I feel reassured Mum is in safe hands.

Phoned onto knowing if you would be able to help or not. You pulled out all the stops to get care in for our dad. Unfortunately he is still in hospital and still not sure when he will be discharged. I'm sure if we need to we as a family would onto hesitate to use you many thanks to you all.

They are very professional but caring to my Dad and when there has been a medical problem they have contacted the correct offices.

We have the most caring team, both out in the field as well as in the office. Absolutely everybody is willing to help out when and where they can. I feel we are like a very happy family, we just support each other, and most importantly our customers. They are the most important to each and everyone of us. I count myself very lucky to be part of this fantastic team!

Your staff are very helpful and nothing is to inconvenient for them.even if my husband has a bad day.I'm very pleased in overall with the service we get.

Christine (sorry if I've got her name wrong) was so pleasant and helpful, filling me in on what Helpful Hands provides and answering all my questions. We have to sort some kind of help for my elderly mother-in-law and I was really happy that when we've chatted to the family that you will be the ones we have confidence in.

Carers I've had are all really friendly & helpful. Usually it all goes smoothly but ocasionally rota is changed & I don't get to know - don't like not knowing who is coming & when to expect them

A friendly voice at the end of the phone--- as a first point of contact that is so important when relations are wending their way through the minefield of arranging care for elderly relatives.

Care is good, continuity of carers has improved recently. If I need to contact the local office it feels like a lottery, when in concerns are addressed quickly but the phone quite often rings out with no indication of how/when to contact.

The woman who I spoke to had a nice voice and was friendly, helpful and informative. I rang 3 companies and this was my favourite after speaking to her.

The two people we have come to know best, Sabine and her manager Bernadette, have been so helpful, and Sabine has built a real relationship with my mother. They have been accommodating of last-minute changes, and gone beyond the call of duty.

Bernadette was friendly,professional and informative. Unfortunately she was an hour and 20 minutes late for our appointment, that is why I marked 1 point off the score. She did ring me to say she had an emergency and would be there ASAP, but after waiting over an hour after the voicemail,I was wondering if she was still on her way. Once Bernadette arrived, she was fantastic, talked to Betty and asked lots of questions.

Dad has dementia which means he needs the same regular carers coming in daily? helping hands totally understand dad's needs - they are so helpful and if any problems arise I know the staff (in office and carers) go that extra mile to sort out any problems we have ????
