Branch Care Manager
My roles and responsibilities are to oversee the day-to-day running of the branch and to ensure we continue to deliver a high level of service to all. I was inspired to join the care industry because I saw how other people were making a difference to other people's lives and I knew that was something I wanted to do. I enjoy making people smile and making people's days that little bit brighter. Helping Hands deliver a high standard of support and all team members consistently show compassion, empathy and kindness whilst helping others. My team are highly motivated and show great understanding for other people's needs. I have always been a kind and compassionate person and truly found my calling when I joined the care industry. At each opportunity, I visit my grandparents in Norfolk and enjoy spending time with them.

Home care Letchworth
-
Our dedicated carers from the Letchworth branch provide bespoke home care to enable you or your loved one to stay at home. The team can help with anything from companionship, household duties and support popping to the shops, to more complex care needs including spinal injuries, Parkinson’s and those that have experienced a stroke.
Because our care plans are personalised and centred around you, the support you require is always on your terms and to suit your routines. It may be that you need help getting up and dressed in the morning, but you’re able to attend to your own personal care; we recognise that everyone’s needs are different and may change over time.
Visiting care can be arranged for anything from 30 minutes once a week to regular calls throughout the day. Every member of the team is here to ensure you or your loved one remain as independent as possible, irrespective of medical or personal needs.
Care needs may change over time or suddenly occur after an unexpected illness or injury. For some it can be quite a daunting prospect to allow someone into your home, but for others it’s a sense of relief. Whatever your situation, Louise and her team are on hand to answer any questions and find a solution that is perfect for you.

-
Live-in care in Letchworth means exactly that – a carer will live with you in your home to provide support as and when you require. For many, this can be a more preferable option than residential care as it allows you to remain at home surrounded by your own comforts.
We ensure that you have a choice of carers that suit your interests and personality, whether that be a love of nature or a passion for art.

Better than a care agency in Letchworth
-
Being a care agency was never part of our ethos, which is why we aren’t an agency; instead, being a private home care company singularly dedicated to ensuring our customers live safe and comfortable lives in the homes they love. Needing care at home can make you think your only choice is to approach an agency, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. While an agency will traditionally ‘match’ you with a carer, in reality they will take a fee for finding you a carer and then have nothing more to do with the arrangement, leaving you responsible for paying your carer, managing them and making sure they do what is expected. With our local care team in Letchworth though you’ll be cared for by dedicated and compassionate carers, and supported by managers who will make sure everything runs seamlessly and put you at the forefront of everything they do.
