Branch Care Manager
My roles and responsibilities are to oversee the day-to-day running of the branch and to ensure we continue to deliver a high level of service to all. I was inspired to join the care industry because I saw how other people were making a difference to other people's lives and I knew that was something I wanted to do. I enjoy making people smile and making people's days that little bit brighter. Helping Hands deliver a high standard of support and all team members consistently show compassion, empathy and kindness whilst helping others. My team are highly motivated and show great understanding for other people's needs. I have always been a kind and compassionate person and truly found my calling when I joined the care industry. At each opportunity, I visit my grandparents in Norfolk and enjoy spending time with them.

Home care Hitchin
-
For over 30 years, we’ve provided seamless support, enabling every customer to remain in the comfort of their own home, while still receiving a personalised care plan to suit their individual needs, and our friendly team in Hitchin are no different. So, whether you are in your elderly years and need some support with the housework, or you are living with a progressive condition and you would like more intensive support as your symptoms progress – we’ll work with you to build a bespoke package of care that is centred entirely around you.
From as little as 30 minutes per week, we can provide person-centred visiting care to you at home, ranging from support with domestic duties, shopping and meal preparation to administering medication, personal care and support with mobilising safely in and around your home.
Home care is so much more than just popping over to tend to your physical needs. Our carers will be there if you’re feeling lonely and share a cup of tea with you over a catch up about the latest TV programmes. And if you want to venture out further for the afternoon and go for a shopping trip in Hitchin, they’ll help you to do that too.

24-hour live-in care in Hitchin
-
If you need a more intense level of home care, our carers are fully trained to provide you with the support you require, on your terms. Live-in care enables you to have specialist, round-the-clock assistance from your own dedicated live-in carer. That way, you can rest assured that you always have someone there to support you whatever the hour.
Live-in care is an ideal option for those requiring regular care throughout the day and night but who don’t want to move into a care home. Apart from the stress and upheaval of moving somewhere new, you will have less independence and also have to leave a partner, spouse or even pets behind. With live-in care, you can decide on how you spend your day and how and when you receive your care, giving you more autonomy and choice in your support.

Friendly, qualified carers in Hitchin
