"Hello, I’m Sigita. Here, at the Letchworth & Hitchin branch, I have a wonderful team of carers working with me, providing high-quality, compassionate support to all our customers.
I’ve lived in Hertfordshire for eight years now, so I know the local community well. I truly believe the most important part of my job is connecting with people, I’m really interested in psychology and love learning new skills to further my knowledge."
For over 30 years, we've been supporting people with care, nurse-supported care and companionship across England and Wales. As industry-leaders in home care, we know what it takes to provide the right level of care so that you can retain your independence in the comfort of your beloved home.
Over 100 branches across the UK means we're local to you

Fully flexible care packages as your needs change
Flexible care provided in your own home with a fully qualified carer. Visits start from as little as 30 minutes up to several hourly or overnight calls throughout the week.
One-to-one support from a fully qualified care that lives with you. Full-time support so you can stay at home where you feel most comfortable.
For over 30 years, we’ve provided seamless support, enabling every customer to remain in the comfort of their own home, while still receiving a personalised care plan to suit their individual needs, and our friendly team in Hitchin are no different. So, whether you are in your elderly years and need some support with the housework, or you are living with a progressive condition and you would like more intensive support as your symptoms progress – we’ll work with you to build a bespoke package of care that is centred entirely around you.
From as little as 30 minutes per week, we can provide person-centred visiting care to you at home, ranging from support with domestic duties, shopping and meal preparation to administering medication, personal care and support with mobilising safely in and around your home.
Home care is so much more than just popping over to tend to your physical needs. Our carers will be there if you’re feeling lonely and share a cup of tea with you over a catch up about the latest TV programmes. And if you want to venture out further for the afternoon and go for a shopping trip in Hitchin, they’ll help you to do that too.
If you need a more intense level of home care, our carers are fully trained to provide you with the support you require, on your terms. Live-in care enables you to have specialist, round-the-clock assistance from your own dedicated live-in carer. That way, you can rest assured that you always have someone there to support you whatever the hour.
Live-in care is an ideal option for those requiring regular care throughout the day and night but who don’t want to move into a care home. Apart from the stress and upheaval of moving somewhere new, you will have less independence and also have to leave a partner, spouse or even pets behind. With live-in care, you can decide on how you spend your day and how and when you receive your care, giving you more autonomy and choice in your support.
We only seek out the very best people to join our team in Hitchin, which is why our number one priority when recruiting carers is their passion for looking after others and genuine kindness. At the start of their recruitment journey, they are required to provide character references and undergo a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) screening, so that we have full assurance of their experience and integrity. Once selected, they take part in our training programme that covers manual handling, safeguarding, dementia, personal care, medication and first aid – providing them with the skills and knowledge they will need when they are out in the local community caring for our customers.
As with all of our care teams across the country, we are fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The monitor our services for safety, effectiveness and responsiveness, ensure we adhere to the high level of industry standards.
