When to choose nursing care

Have you started to slow down a little due to age-related frailties? Or perhaps you are living with a condition that may need help to keep on top of. Whatever the reason, our nurses are here to help. They are trained in condition-led care such as Parkinson’s, stroke and cancer care, and dementia. We want to help you get the best possible quality of life at home, no matter the situation. We know how daunting it can be to start considering care and moving to a care home can often seem like the only option. We’re here to reassure you that you can stay in the home you love, and we’ll be right beside you.

Expert care tailored to your needs

All our carers are experts at what they do, with qualifications, training, and a wealth of experience. Our nursing care offers an extra bit of knowledge. Trained by experienced NHS nurses, our carers can help with discreet care such as dressing, continence care and bathing. If your needs require a more medically trained eye, they can also help with stoma and catheter care and ventilated and PEG feeding care. In addition to all of this, they can also help with some of the less complex needs like housekeeping, meal preparation or just being great company to watch Corrie with.

Qualified carers providing nursing care in Newbury

As we’ve mentioned, we’re care experts. Qualified and experienced, we offer top-class training to make sure our carers are always on top of their game. We don’t just select anyone to be a Helping Hands carer; we select only the kindest and most compassionate people out there. That’s why with our care packages, you won’t only be getting a qualified and experienced nurse in your home, but a trusted companion too. We handpick our carers to match your interests and personality, so you will soon have a new friend to visit the Newbury Racecourse with before you know it!
