Qualified carers providing assisted living in Preston

Our carers really are the best in the industry, simply because they care so much about their customers and the support they give them. They come to us with varying amounts of experience, but we always build on the skills they already have and make sure that they have all the knowledge they’ll need to confidently look after their customers. Thanks to our in-house training academy we have courses on offer constantly, as well as qualifications for those who would like to progress.

When to consider assisted living

You may have been living independently for many years, or perhaps you’ve moved in with family, but for various reasons, you need some extra support. Leaving the home you love isn’t the only solution to needing help with your daily routine, and if you’re keen to remain living in the place that means everything to you, we can support you in so many circumstances. Many of our customers are living with dementia and other life-limiting conditions and our carers are knowledgeable in how best to help you live as well as possible.

How much does assisted living cost?

Assisted living care at home from Helping Hands is very reasonably priced when you consider all the things you get to do that can’t be measured in monetary terms. This includes staying in comfortable and familiar surroundings, with people and pets you love dearly. We’ll design you a bespoke quote once we know more about how we can support you, but as an idea the following are our starting costs:

Visiting care costs from £31.00 per hour, plus a call-out charge of £4.50 to cover transport costs.

Live-in care is particularly good value if you’ve two people at home, as the cost for one person is £1,675 while for two people it’s £1,675.
