At Helping Hands, we have been providing dedicated, person-centred care since 1989. So, it’s fair to say we have plenty of years under our belt. When you partner with us, you know you can always expect the very best.

We provide exceptional home care in Ringwood so our customers can receive care without having to leave the comfort of their own homes. We provide support on a visiting and live-in basis. So, you can choose to have care a few days a week or 24 hours a day. Whatever you need, we will do our best to ensure we fulfil your needs.

We are also fully regulated and monitored by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales. So, you shouldn’t have any worries about the quality of care you’ll receive.

When to choose live in care

Live-in care is ideal for those living with complex conditions such as dementia, stroke, or cancer. One of our carers will stay with you in your home 24 hours a day. So, whether you need some water in the middle of the night or have a doctor’s appointment during the day, we have got you covered.

If you live alone, a live-in carer could be what you need. A live-in carer allows you to receive the care you need, but more importantly, valuable companionship. After all, having a listening ear and a shoulder to lean on has a positive impact on your mental wellbeing.

Expert care tailored to your needs

All our care packages are fully tailored to your needs and requirements. We take time to get to know you, your routine, hobbies, likes and dislikes. This way, we can personalise your care plan to meet your needs.

We also understand how daunting it can be when someone new comes into your home, let alone live with you. This is why we partner you with a carer who shares similar interests to yours. So, whether you love to bake, complete a crossword puzzle, or enjoy watching your favourite soap opera every evening, our carers will join in too.

Qualified carers providing live in care in Ringwood

All our carers are fully trained to provide you with outstanding care at home. They complete an intensive training programme to equip them with the skills they need to deliver your care. They also undergo a strict background check, including references from previous employers and a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. So, you can be confident knowing you will be in good hands.

Our carers are genuinely walking angels. They always do whatever it takes to make your life easier. Plus, they make the best companions.

FAQs

Live-in care means a trained Helping Hands carer lives in your own Ringwood home and supports you around the clock with daily tasks, personal care, medication and companionship. It is a one-to-one alternative to a care home that lets you stay in familiar surroundings.

It suits people in Ringwood who need regular or 24-hour support but want to stay at home, including older people, couples who want to stay together, and people living with dementia, limited mobility or a long-term condition.

Your carer supports personal care, washing and dressing, medication, meal preparation, mobility, housekeeping, getting out and about, and companionship. Care is built around your routine rather than a fixed shift pattern.

Live-in care is charged weekly and depends on the level of support you need. Ringwood live-in care starts from £1,675 per week for one person, or £2,125 per week for a couple. We give a clear written quote after a free care assessment, with no hidden fees.

For one person it is often comparable, and for couples it is frequently better value because two people are supported for close to the cost of one. We will talk you through the figures for your situation in Ringwood.

Yes. Our Ringwood live-in care is regulated and inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and every carer is trained, vetted and DBS-checked before they start.

Once we have completed your free assessment we can usually arrange care quickly, including urgent and emergency situations. Call our Ringwood team to talk through timings.
