Since 2012, I've built a rewarding career in care, beginning as an elderly care worker and transitioning to supported living for individuals with learning disabilities. I advanced from team leader to service manager before joining Helping Hands in 2024 as a manager. My time here has been amazing, highlighting the true essence of care. I'm continuously inspired by the incredible carers and feel privileged to make a meaningful impact every day.

As an area care manager, I have operational and financial responsibility for the branches in my region. It is my role to lead and motivate my team and to ensure that the care we provide meets the national standards in terms of quality. On a day-to-day basis, my focus is to drive growth in terms of our carer and customer base.

In my spare time, I enjoy travelling - generally anywhere with sun and usually have another trip planned before the last one has even ended! When I am at home, I go for long walks and love stopping off for a pub lunch.

As the Regional Care Director, it is my role to lead a hugely skilled care team operating in London, Essex and the South East, ensuring the highest levels of care are being delivered to our customers on a daily basis. We have a large branch network equipped to deal with all your hourly care needs, and I am also the Registered Manager with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for our live-in program, where we are set up to support you on a more permanent basis.

I am inspired on a daily basis by the true lengths my colleagues go to, to ensure that customers can continue to live long, healthy lives from the comfort of their own homes. This is one of the main reasons that inspired me to join care.
