Qualified carers providing assisted living in Swadlincote

Our carers are amazing at what they do, dedicated to offering support to people living in their own homes who are in need of some assisted living support. We only accept naturally compassionate people to join us at Helping Hands because no matter how much experience they have, if they don’t have caring for others at heart, they’re not going to be a good fit. That isn’t to say we don’t respect the experience that our carers join us with, but we’re more than happy to develop someone to become an excellent carer, offering opportunities to build on their existing skills and become the best that they can be.

When to consider assisted living

We know how important your home is to you, and we’ll do all we can to help you remain living in it for as long as possible. Staying independent is crucial to most people, especially as we age, and being able to stay in a place that has such emotional memories attached to it can be very valuable. If you’re struggling with your everyday routine or living with the consequences of a long-term illness you may find assisted living of benefit to your daily life.

How much does assisted living cost?

It’s hard to put a price on something that can enable you to remain in the best emotional health possible, which in itself can have knock-on benefits for your physical wellbeing. How much Helping Hands charge also depends on several different factors, such as how often you require care, whether you want visiting or live-in support, and where in the UK you live, amongst others. When you talk to your local care team about your assisted living requirements, they will be able to design you a personalised quote to go with your bespoke package of care, however as a starting point our care prices begin at:

£25.27 per hour for visiting care, plus an hourly charge for carer travel expenses

£1,599 per week for individual live-in care, and from £1,839 for a couple
