Our mission at Helping Hands is to keep our customers comfortable, supported, and as independent as possible in the home they love. We support people across Swindon to live the way they want to, without compromise, so that they don’t have to move out of the place that means the world to them and into somewhere unfamiliar. All of our home care in Swindon is fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales which assures you and your loved ones that you’ll only ever receive support of the highest quality.
We can be there for a few hours a week or around the clock, depending on your requirements and preferences, and because we design and manage your care ourselves, you’ll always remain at the centre of your care experience.
Our carers are incredible – but don’t just take our word for it, read some of the many Trustpilot reviews we receive every day. They demonstrate just what a difference our carers make to our customers and their families’ lives, providing compassionate, dedicated care and support within their homes and in the local community. We attract the best because we treat them well, after all we could hardly expect people to want to stay with us if we didn’t support their development. They have quality training when they first join us that builds on their existing skills and experience, and as their career progresses, we encourage them to learn more and seek promotion if they wish, and we’re very proud of the number of managers we have who began as carers with us.
You might be looking for some additional support due to a deteriorating condition, age-related frailties, or because of an accident or illness. We can support you for a few days or for the foreseeable future, you just let us know what you need, and we’ll design you the perfect package of care to suit you. If your housework has become too much for you or you’d appreciate some help to shower and dress, we can be there to make life easier. We’ll also help you to get errands done and attend appointments outside of the home so that you don’t feel you’re becoming isolated from what’s going on locally. Whether you feel visiting or live-in care would suit you better we can discuss it with you on a no-obligation basis.
Assisted living support can vary in cost depending on your needs, and we’ll design you a personalised quote as part of your initial enquiry. However, to give you an idea of the costs involved you can expect to pay from £25.27 per hour for visiting care, plus an hourly charge to cover carer expenses. Live-in care costs from £1,599 per week for a single person, or £1,839 for a couple. Costs will also be influenced by where in the UK you live, your needs, and the complexity of your condition, but we’ll always work with you to keep costs as reasonable as possible.
