I found the whole process very easy. From the first call to when Celia rang me back the experience was very easy. Kaser was on time and very good with my Mum.
Our initial contact Celia was excellent – lovely, patient and reassuring. Care visits have been good overall, some of them outstanding

We were very happy with our visit. Gemma was extremely friendly and efficient and told us all we needed to know at this stage.
Telephone manner was good. Response to request was immediate, i have contacted two other companies this week and i am still waiting to hear back from them.
Becuse we have been totally satisfied with the Service, Carers and management Team. Could not fault them and all have an excellent ”Can Do attitude.
We have always found both the carers and members at the office extremely helpful and pleasant. We understand that it must be a very difficult job for your staff “juggling” all of your carers to your clients at the times that we prefer, but really they do a great job.
Celia was lovely, and she dealt very well with my mum. We’ve had a bad experience in the past, but Celia was the absolute opposite of that.

my only comment would be that I receive by email, on occasions, the rota of who is coming on each day – but not very often. To receive this is of great benefit as I then pass this detail to my mother (who receives the care) and she feels re-assured that she knows who will be coming each morning. It also highlights who is scheduled to give her a bath – and she has a preference as to who this would be.
I am extremely happy with all the carers that come to attend to my husband. However, I feel that the organisation, travelling and timing of visits could be somewhat improved. I realise that there is a shortage of staff, and considering this, the carers manage admirably. It seems however that the carers are spending too much time travelling. A bit more attention is needed as to the area in question and the best order of calls. I would, nevertheless recommend Helping Hands as a top Care Company.

Helping hands have only been twice to help with my mum by keeping her company and chatting with her etc. She feels very comfortable with them which ultimately enables me to feel confident in them

On our short visit to Hungerford Edie and I were amazes that you had offered to look aftetrr Edie by sending three office staff such a long disrtance. Top rate care and a credit to the name of Helping Hands, Ken Orman,
Carer’s not turning up on time. One day last week did not arrive until 11.
The team of carers have exceeded expectations..they could not have been kinder nor more helpful or efficient. They are reliable and their timekeeping is excellent. No complaints at all. Our only slight problem (and we do realise this is sometimes out of the office team’s control) is the delay in receiving rotas, sometimes with blanks on it and the very early or late morning care visits….now that winter is here 8am is very early and 10am means that most of the morning is gone as it is nearly time to prepare for lunch at 11am/11.15am…luckily Mum does nt have meals on wheels or that would be begin to run into late morning visits and it can cause a little conflict with other visits like chiropodist, cleaners etc. However I do realise you try to let Mum know in advance of any big changes to the rota and I have discovered that Mum agrees with anything you suggest (to be helpful) but then complains to me about it afterwards…I will be more aware of this in future before mentioning it to the office.Mum could not have come home to her own house from hospital/nursing home without your team and we are very aware of how much enjoyment and confidence your team have given Mum…thanks to you all….(daughter ad next of kin as Mum does not have internet!)
efficient and helpful
We have only had HH for the 1st time on the 1st Aug for 2 hours. We had a very polite, pleasant, and hard working young lady who had a ”can-do” attitude, with a ready smile. It was a hot afternoon and she simply got on with her allotted tasks without any complaint. She changed the sheets, and made up the king-size bed, mopped the dining room, and kitchen floors (twice), and also the hallway.After all that she caught up with a backlog of ironing. A n excellent example of a Helping Hand. We are hoping we can be allocated her again this week?

Our first meeting was helpful and informative. We feel that Mum will receive appropriate care when she comes out of hospital.

Very glad of the support. Understood that we were new to the game!. First visit today. My parents were very happy with the carer. Just fYI they called me at 7.15! All ready as something was happening! Usually sleeping till 9.45!
My wife and I have given you a high score as you have exceeded all expetations in the 4/5 weeeks we have been with you. The quality ofoffice staff are exactly the same. your staff is really outstanding. The ladies we have come into contact with are very pleasant, polite, and have a ”can do attitude” which is so refreshing when clients like us are a little hampered in what we can do. I would also add that your office staff are also very pleasant and understanding.
Sophie Barrett has been a god send to my mum. She is reliable always on time and mum looks forward to her visits 10/10 well done
