If you or your loved one lives in the lovely town of Wilmslow – or in the local area – and are looking for dementia support, then our Wilmslow team is ready to assist. We are able to support anybody who is living with dementia through our person-centred care, offering tailor-made dementia care solutions, with an emphasis on helping our customers to stay independent and living in their own homes.
Here at Helping Hands, we have over 30 years’ experience in supporting people who are living with dementia, and we have used the knowledge and experience that we have gained to ensure that we are providing dementia care of the highest standards, in the safest and most effective manner. We are proud to say that we are industry leaders in providing home care, helping to support our customers both physically and psychologically.
Our fantastic home care in Wilmslow team is on hand to visit your or your loved one’s home anything from once a week to several times daily to support them with everyday life. This can range from helping with mobility and getting out of the house, taking medication, preparing nutritious, healthy meals, light housework, or just popping around for a chat. If you or your loved one needs a bit of help with personal hygiene, washing and dressing in the morning, or getting to medical appointments, our team can help.
The visiting care that we can provide is important for people living with dementia, as it can facilitate them living in the familiarity of their own homes – something that in our experience, we believe is highly beneficial to them.
Here at Helping Hands, we are fully regulated by the CQC (Care Quality Commission). The CQC is an independent body tasked with ensuring that care services in England are safe and effective, and of good quality.
We take our responsibilities to our customers who are living with dementia very seriously and are continually looking to improve our understanding and services to our customers. We work closely with some of the country’s leading dementia organisations such as the Dementia UK. These organisations represent not only those who are living with dementia, but also their carers, and they are able to ensure that we not only are kept up-to-date with developments in the world of dementia but also able to contribute through our own experiences.
Through our years of experience in supporting people living with dementia, we understand that being in a familiar environment with a good routine is key. This is why we believe that helping our customers to stay living in their own homes, in the surroundings that they know and love, with a strong visiting care routine, is usually the best way forward for them.
Here at Helping Hands, we can facilitate all of this, assisting in keeping you or your loved one as independent as possible, creating and maintaining robust routines, and helping to keep them out of residential care. From as little as half an hour each week, to providing full-time, 24-hour live-in care in Wilmslow, our Wilmslow carers are always available.
We appreciate that just living can be challenging for those who are living with dementia and their families, and we aim to take this pressure off, enabling our customers to spend quality, enjoyable time with their loved ones.
We recognise how important it is for each and every one of our customers to be treated as an individual, as shown through our person-centred care philosophy. This is why we have a range of different care packages that are available to you or your loved one, with the ability to find the perfect dementia support for you.
In addition to the visiting care services that we can provide, we also offer nurse-led care from our registered nurses who can help with assisting with any clinical, medical requirements that you have.
Our services also include respite care in the Wilmslow area, with our excellent care team on hand to fill in when carers need some respite. We understand that respite cannot always be planned far in advance, so are ready to fill in whenever you need us – being it at short-term, or for planned respite leave.
