Home care in Wimbledon – live-in care and regular home visits
If you’re looking for home care in Wimbledon, whether it be for support with housekeeping, cooking and right through to personal care, dementia care and mobility support, our team of home care experts is here to help.
Based on Church Road in SW19, our Wimbledon carers and personal assistants offer home visits, from as little as 30 minutes per week right through to several visits a day. Expertly trained, committed and compassionate, they’re supporting families throughout Wimbledon, Merton, Kingston, Wandsworth, Balham, Earlsfield and other parts of south west London.
Helping Hands provides person-centred home care to adults of all ages and living with various different healthcare conditions. We are also an approved provider of elderly care on Age UK’s Business Directory for London.
Meet Rebecca, our Area Manager
Rebecca Terrell runs our Wimbledon branch, and is a Registered Manager with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Her role is to arrange home visits and support for families throughout the area, oversee and coordinate each of their support plans and recruit and manage her team of carers.
Rebecca says, “I’m passionate about providing high quality care and ensuring our support is tailored to each individual. I have definitely found a company who are as passionate about the care they deliver as I am.”
Having worked in care since university, Rebecca talks about the support on offer at the branch and throughout Helping Hands. “The range of services we offer is huge and I do all I can to enable customers to remain in the comfort of their own homes, safely and as independently as possible.”

We’re helping people each and every day to live comfortably at home with conditions such as dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, a spinal injury, acquired brain injury or life after a stroke.
Our fully trained carers and personal assistants offer:
- Personal care, including help bathing, dressing and toileting

- Medication support, including prompts or administering medication
- Housekeeping, laundry and running errands
- Preparing and cooking meals
- Companionship and help in pursuing the lifestyle you want

Everyone should have the option to live in a way that promotes independence, ensures dignity and enables them to lead their own lives. With a team of registered nurses specialising in clinical support, we can enable people with more complex health care needs to continue living in the comfort of their homes.
The carer from Helping Hands was extremely professional, flexible and helpful. She told me she would treat my mum like her own and that’s exactly what she did!

You may have a progressive medical condition with specific care requirements throughout the day, have experienced a recent injury or are looking for ongoing companionship and peace of mind.
Should you need support during the night, whether it’s support with going to the toilet or taking night-time medication, one of our carers can be there to help.
Our flexible service can change and evolve as you do. Unlike introductory home care agencies, we continue to oversee and manage the support you receive and make changes as you require.
