Visiting care and home care in Winchmore Hill
Apparently not in existence at the time of the Domesday Book, the earliest written mention of Winchmore Hill is in 1319, when it’s spelt Wynsemerhull. The second part of the name translates to ‘boundary hill,’ and the one in question is now occupied by a local golf club, long after a hill fort was built on it prior to Roman times.
We decided it was time we explored the area around our Enfield branch a bit better, which is what brought our outstanding visiting and live-in care to Winchmore Hill, all fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and the Care Inspectorate Wales of course.
