Branch Care Manager
I have worked in care for over seven years starting as from NHS I had the opportunity to work in West Middlesex hospital and Chelsea and Westminster hospital as booking coordinator. From there I progressed to Mihome care as a senior care coordinator managing 80 carers and overseeing 2000 weekly hours for Kensington and Chelsea Branch. This experience provided me with a unique perspective on the health care industry emphasising the importance of efficient coordination and compassionate patient care. In my role as a client liaison coordinator at Draycott Nursing and Care, I had the privilege of being at the fourth front of fostering positive relationships between our clients and carers. One of my key responsibilities were supporting new client enquiries, where I ensured that individuals and families received comprehensive information about our services addressing concerns with empathy and expertise. I also gained experience working closely with our clinical nurse team gaining valuable insights into the healthcare aspects of the service. I have been a Service Delivery Manager in Sugarman Health - Watford and Birmingham Branch leading 5000 hours service for the Complex care team During my tenure as a Service Delivery Manager at Sugarman Health, I had the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization’s operations and client services across multiple branches, particularly in Watford and Birmingham. Managing an extensive workload of 5000 hours spread across 9 territories, including regions such as Midlands, North Hampshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Surrey, and London, provided me with invaluable experience in overseeing diverse and complex care requirements. A key aspect of my role involved leading a dedicated team of care coordinators and field care supervisors. Through effective leadership and strategic planning, I ensured seamless coordination between our office staff and caregivers in the field. By fostering a collaborative and supportive environment, I empowered my team to deliver high-quality care services, tailored to the unique needs of our clients in each territory. Additionally, I played a vital role in supporting our service office by facilitating the acquisition of new care packages, contributing to the growth and sustainability of our business. My ability to establish and maintain positive relationships within the local community allowed me to work closely with community groups, building partnerships that benefited both our clients and our organization. This collaborative approach not only enhanced our service delivery but also reinforced our commitment to the communities we served. During my time as a care manager at Curacare I took on different approaches to ensure the growth of the business one of my key strategies involved actively engaging with the local community, forging partnerships, and building strong relationships within our immediate vicinity. I did this by understand the unique needs of the local community I was able to tailor our services to meet the specific requirements of our clients.

High quality home care in Southgate
At Helping Hands Southgate, we’re fully committed to only providing the very highest standards of care to every single customer. From your first phone call to our friendly team, we’ll make sure you and your needs are at the heart of every decision that’s taken regarding your support plan. We know that a one-size-fits-all approach to care rarely results in you getting the type and level of support that you really need, so we’ll tailor every aspect of your care to your requirements and preferences. Whether you’re living with a particular condition and have certain needs and routines that need to be adhered to, or simply like your eggs done a certain way for breakfast, your Helping Hands carers will always be happy to do things your way.
24/7 live in care support
One of the areas of care in which we specialise is live-in care, which provides you with the opportunity to have one of our wonderful carers come to live with you in your home and provide round-the-clock support and companionship. Live-in care is a popular care option for those who perhaps might currently be receiving visiting care but now require a more comprehensive level of support, or for anyone who might be considering moving into residential care but would rather remain in the comfortable, familiar surroundings of their own home. Your live-in carer will be able to help out around the home in just about any way you may wish – whether that’s preparing delicious meals, providing discreet personal care, assisting with mobility, cleaning and vacuuming, doing the laundry, and so much more.
Why Helping Hands is better than a care agency in Southgate
Helping Hands are a private care provider, rather than a care agency, which means we’re able to make a number of guarantees that most agencies can’t. For example, every single Helping Hands carer is directly recruited, vetted, trained and employed by us, so you can have total confidence that your carers will be of the very highest standard and will be properly looked after by us. We also guarantee that you’ll benefit from a fully managed service, where you’ve got the constant support of your local care team in Southgate and will have cover provided if your regular carer is taken ill or needs a break.
Qualified carers providing a variety of care services in Southgate
We’re extremely proud of our amazing carers in Southgate, who truly are the very best at what they do. We only hire people to our care teams who share our company-wide values of kindness, compassion and empathy, and who are as passionate as we are about helping people to enjoy the very highest quality of life – whatever their circumstances might be. All of our carers undergo thorough background checks before starting with us, and will receive expert-led training when they join which takes place over a four-day period and includes modules such as dementia care, moving and handling, safeguarding, and health and safety.
