What does our assisted living support include?

At Helping Hands, we have been providing outstanding care to those who need support at home. We deliver different types of care, including assisted living on a visiting and live-in basis. So, you’ll be able to receive care from as little as 30 minutes a week or 24 hours a day, no matter what condition you are living with. We are also regulated and monitored by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales. This means our services are regularly inspected to ensure we provide a responsive, empathetic and well-led service.

Our home care in Wolverhampton team can help you stack the dishwasher, change the bedding, take the bins out, prepare nutritious meals, explore the community, and even keep you company.

Qualified carers providing assisted living in Wolverhampton

When our carers join the team, they complete an intensive training programme. This ensures they are equipped with the essential skills to provide exceptional care to those who need it most. To ensure your safety, we carry out a strict background check on all our carers, including a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. We understand it can be daunting to have someone new come into your home, which is why we take these measures seriously.

Our live in care in Wolverhampton team are genuinely the most empathetic, kind and caring individuals you’ll meet. They always go the extra mile to make a difference in your life. So, rest assured you’re in very good hands.

When to consider this type of support?

If you find you are struggling to manage household tasks or they are taking longer to complete, having assisted living can help. Or perhaps you are living with a complex condition and need support to maintain your routine; our carers can step in to give you a hand. Whatever you need, we promise to provide you with compassionate and person-centred care.

How much does assisted living cost?

Our assisted living care packages are personalised to your needs and are available on a visiting and live-in basis. Costs for visiting care start from £29.00 per hour. There is also a call-out charge of £4.25, which helps to cover your carer’s travel costs. For live-in care, prices start from £1,650 per week for a single person. If your partner also needs support, you can both receive care from £1,650 a week. Funding is also available to help with the costs. However, you will need to contact your local authority or council to check your eligibility.
