Visiting care and home care in Woolwich

Famous for the football team that was originally known as “Woolwich Arsenal”, Woolwich has been inhabited since the Iron Age, or perhaps even earlier. Extensive excavations in the area have exposed many skeletal remains from early periods. Despite such an established history, Woolwich was not mentioned in the Domesday Book, due to being under the control of Flemish monks at the time.

At Helping Hands, we have an established history that – while not rivalling Woolwich’s – we are very proud of. We’ve been providing the highest quality care in our customers’ homes since 1989, and we continue to do so for thousands of people every day via our visiting and live-in care services, all of which are fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and the Care Inspectorate Wales.

High quality home care in Woolwich

Our care is of such high standards that we want to shout about it some more. We feel we’ve been too modest over the years and now think that more people should know about the amazing carers we employ and the superb services they deliver, every single day of the year. This is why we’ve come to Woolwich – to try and make sure that everyone is aware of what it is we do and how we could make it work for you.

    24/7 live in care support

We don’t just offer intermittent care; we also provide live-in support for people who require an around-the-clock solution due to complex care needs or because and your loved ones would prefer that you’re never alone at home. Live-in care is a great choice if you’re missing a beloved companion and feel the house is now too quiet, or you have a serious health condition that is preventing you from managing independently.

Why Helping Hands is better than a care agency in Woolwich

We’ve never been a care agency at Helping Hands; instead, we’re a private home care provider who employ their own carers and own their 155 branches across the whole of England and Wales. This shouldn’t make a difference but it does. This is because many care agencies charge you a fee for ‘finding’ you a carer and then expecting you to manage their employment, on top of living with your health conditions. At Helping Hands however, we do all that for you.

Qualified carers providing a variety of care services in Woolwich

Our carers are the real reason we’re so successful and trusted across the UK, and if you take a look at some of our 4000 Trustpilot reviews, you’ll understand why. They go above and beyond every single day so that our customers and their loved ones can make precious memories together without worrying about practical tasks. Your carer will take care of your housework, laundry, medication, meals, and so much more.
