Helping Hands is delighted to become the trusted care partner for Mayfield Villages, bringing the full breadth of specialist home care to everyone they have served.

Whether you’re exploring home care for the first time, or you’re currently supported by Mayfield Village Care and are wondering what comes next — you’re in the right place. We’re here to help, whatever stage you’re at.

At Helping Hands, everything comes back to one thing: helping you live well in the home and community you love. We believe care is not the destination. Life is. That the right support, when you need it, should protect your way of life and give you the freedom to stay in the home you love. On your own terms. Never having to give up on what makes you, you.

Care that grows with you

The right care makes more possible. From everyday companionship and personal care through to live-in support, nurse-led care and specialist condition support, everything you need is here.

Visiting care

A team of familiar carers, visiting as often as you need — from a short call once a week to several visits a day. Getting to know you, your routines, your favourite meals and the way you like things done. They’re there for everything from personal care and medication support to getting out to the places and people that matter most.

A little help can open the door to a lot more life.

A young woman in a green shirt smiles whilst sitting at a glass table outdoors, watching another person paint on a small canvas with green and blue colours. Lush greenery fills the background.
Live-in care

A dedicated carer living alongside you in your home. Having someone there isn’t about giving up your independence — for most people it’s what gives them the confidence to live more of it.

Someone who gets to know you, the rhythm of your days and the things that matter most to you. There when you need them, ready to step back when you don’t. Carrying on with the life you love, in the home you love, with someone you trust beside you.

An older man with white hair and a beard, wearing a dark blue dressing gown, sits and smiles while holding an open book. He looks up at a person standing nearby, who is partially visible.
Respite care

Short-term support, ready when life needs it. For someone returning home from hospital, it’s about rebuilding strength and confidence and getting back to the life they know. For a family carer who needs a break, it’s the knowledge that the person they love is in trusted, caring hands.

Whatever the reason, the right support steps in so that life at home keeps moving forward.

With the right support, life can still hold extraordinary experiences.
