Palliative care in Birmingham

Hi, I'm Adam and as Regional Care Director, I'm responsible for making sure that all the customers we help are looked after brilliantly. In order to do this, we need to have the very best carers and support teams there for them so that they can thrive within Helping Hands and do what they do best: care. I think we do everything possible to really understand our customers' needs and then do everything possible to find the right carer for them. Our carers do a wonderful job, and they are special people who are 'hardwired' to care.

Hi, I'm Nic. I've worked in the care profession since 1999. In this time, I've managed care facilities that specialise in supporting the elderly, frail and mentally infirmed, as well as nursing homes that specialise in palliative and end of life care.
I joined Helping Hands in February 2022 and I am proud they have given me the opportunity to grow in my care career. I am a family man and enjoy spending quality time with my family at home or out finding adventures to have with them!

I have been with Helping Hands since July 2023, starting as a Care Coordinator and have since been promoted to Branch Care Manager. I am extremely passionate to ensure we help people live well in the homes and communities they love. I feel my best asset is my people skills, having over 5 years hands-on customer experience, I make it my ambition to provide the best service possible to our service users. I am a massive Aston Villa supporter, I love travelling and exploring new places. My pride and joy is my erratic hyper Yorkshire Terrier called Nala
