What's included with care at Helping Hands?

Whether you want an occasional visit, several visits a day, or would prefer one of our carers living with you, you will always receive personalised, bespoke care in your own home. We can also support you short-term, in an emergency, at the start of your care journey or the end of your life, whether you just need companionship or high level, complex care. You’ll be supported with your personal care, medication, mobility support, meal preparation, housework and so much more, and your comfort, safety and wellbeing will always be our carers’ primary focus.

Domiciliary care

Domiciliary care, or care at home in its simplest explanation, means that you will receive care in your own home from Helping Hands’ professional and empathetic caregivers, enabling you to remain in the home you love for as long as you want to. Regardless of your care needs, you can receive every aspect of your care within your own home, whether you have low level needs or the most complex conditions, thanks to our carers who go above and beyond every single day.

Helping Hands have been caring for thousands of people in their own homes since 1989, meaning that we really are the homecare experts, honing our experience over the last 30 years. We believe our carers are the best in the industry because we only select people who share our ethos that we’ve had since we began, which is to respect our customers’ dignity and independence while delivering the highest quality of care. We can’t train people on how to be caring, however for everything else, we provide comprehensive training to all of our new carers, while developing them as their employment continues. Finally, because our services are fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales you and your loved ones can be fully confident in our consistently high standards of care.
