Whether you’re living with dementia, Parkinson’s, age-related frailties, or you would just like a little extra support with your everyday routine, visiting or live-in elderly care with our Bournemouth Home Care team reassures you that you can remain in the home you love.
Promoting our customers’ independence and preserving their dignity are the most important things we do at Helping Hands, which is why you and your loved ones can be sure you’ll always have the highest quality of elderly care from us.
Our amazing carers will come to your home and undertake your personal and physical care needs, such as showering and continence care, housework and laundry, meal preparation, mobility support and medication management.
With visiting care, carers will come to your home and spend as much or as little time there as you need, from just 30 minutes per week. However, you might prefer the idea of live in care: having someone living in your home with you, around the clock, offering reassurance not just for you but for your loved ones as well, because they can relax in the knowledge that you’re never alone at home.
To ensure your care is exactly as you want it you’ll have a personalised support plan detailing everything that our carers will do to fully support you, and by helping you with every aspect of your routine, you get to live the best quality of life possible in the comfort and safety of your own home.
Our carers are second to none when it comes to natural qualities of compassion and kindness, but that doesn’t happen by accident! We deliberately choose the most caring people to join us so that they will go above and beyond to support you at every opportunity.
We ensure that their backgrounds are thoroughly checked so that you can be confident of who is coming into your home, and we make sure that they’re screened through the DBS. Whether our carers are highly experienced or embarking on their first role in care, we’re much more interested in the desire they have to help our customers live their best lives possible, although we obviously value the skills our carers bring to the role too.
We’ll equip them with regular opportunities for updating their skills though, which they’ll use to support you even better. And because our elderly care services are fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales, you can be confident that you’re always in the best hands with us.
