Why choose live in care in Bournemouth?

Helping Hands are industry-leaders in personal care and provide a wide variety of tailored services. We will take the time to get to know your loved one and match them with a reliable carer who will suit their specific care needs. We offer a wide selection of care services, including specialist care for a variety of complex medical conditions. Here are just some of the care services being offered at our Bournemouth branch.

Respite care

Research shows that there are now almost 7 million carers in the UK – that’s 1 in 10 people. Caring for a loved one can be extremely satisfying, but it can also take a toll on your physical and mental health over time. We know that providing care can be challenging, especially for those trying to balance other daily commitments such as work or family. We find that carers tend to focus all of their energy on the person they are looking after and don’t spend any time on themselves. With that in mind, you must take an occasional break from your care duties to rest and recharge. This is where our respite carers come in – we will make sure that your loved one receives the proper support they need while you enjoy a much-needed break from your care duties.

Elderly care

It is completely natural to require some extra support as you get older. We understand that admitting you need care can be difficult, which is why we offer care services that are tailored to your needs. This means one of our dedicated carers can visit you for a few hours a week to help with tasks around the house, or move into your home to provide you with full-time live-in care support. Whatever level of care you require, we are on hand to ensure that you can continue living independently in the place you feel most comfortable: your own home.

Our carers can assist with a huge variety of daily tasks to make your life easier. This includes personal care, household chores, preparing meals, administering medication, or simply providing support getting out and about. Our carers will also provide companionship and many carers form close bonds and relationships with their customers.

Emergency care

Circumstances can change instantly and there may come a time when you are unable to provide care for a loved one. This may be because you become ill or have to deal with a family emergency, for example. In these circumstances, it is natural to feel anxious about what would happen to your loved one. Fortunately, our expert carers are on hand to provide your loved one with emergency care if you are pulled away from your care duties for whatever reason. We can usually arrange urgent care in as little as 24 hours, although we can often arrange care even quicker in a crisis situation.

We have have over 30 years’ experience supporting people of all ages and our carers have received professional training on a variety of care needs. You can have complete peace of mind knowing that we are here to offer support whenever you need us.
