What is community care?

Also known as care in the community, Community Care gives you the opportunity to receive dedicated one-to-one care in your own home, rather than relying on a residential nursing home. Helping Hands have been providing life-changing community care since 1989, so it’s safe to say we can be trusted to provide you or your loved one with exceptional support.

Traditionally, people requiring an additional level of care have opted to move to a care home for round-the-clock support. However, with dedicated specialist home care from Helping Hands, you’ve got the opportunity to be fully supported in the comfortable, familiar surroundings of your own home. Our wonderful, expertly trained carers are able to assist you in whatever way you need – whether that’s doing the housework, helping you get out and about in your local community, staying at your home overnight, providing support for a health condition, or just about anything else.
