Intermediate care is available for those who need short-term care. This could be following an accident, operation or your loved one may be away and you need someone to look after you.

Our wonderful home care in Brighton team can provide you with the very best care at home, so you can focus on yourself and your wellbeing. Whether you need a hand with the washing, cooking or emptying the cat litter tray, our carers will support you every step of the way.

Why intermediate care is a good option

If you need additional support while you recuperate from an illness or operation, then intermediate care may be a viable option for you. If you are being cared for by a family member, having an extra pair of hands around the home can lighten the responsibility. That way, they can focus on you without worrying about the household chores, as we can take care of that for you. We can step in to support you and your loved ones with folding the laundry, ironing, cooking, personal care and much more.

Plus, there are many benefits to receiving care at home. Firstly, you’re in a place you love. Secondly, you’re close to your loved ones and thirdly, you’ll have more control over your care as you won’t be subjected to any restrictions.

Intermediate care services tailored to you

At Helping Hands, we understand that with care no one size fits all, which is why all our care plans are fully tailored to every individual. Our Brighton care team will take time to understand your condition, history, likes and dislikes. Whether you are a football fan, a puzzle mastermind or a chess champion, we will make sure we partner you with a carer that shares the same interests as you.

Our visits start from 30 minutes a week with visiting care. This is ideal for people who need help little and often. From the grocery shop to accompanying you to your appointments, our carers will be there for you, whenever you need them. If you need 24-hour care, then live-in care in Brighton may be a better option.

We are also fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales, which means you can have peace of mind, knowing you’ll receive a safe, trustworthy and compassionate care service.
