We need them to demonstrate natural qualities of empathy, compassion, and kindness, as we can train people on the practical skills they’ll need, however we can’t train them to care about other people – it’s either there naturally or it isn’t. We also want to be sure that the people coming into your home will uphold our values which we’ve had at the centre of our organisation since it was founded in 1989, primarily for delivering exceptional care that keeps our customers firmly at the centre of their care journey. In addition, so that you and your loved ones can be confident in the people entering your home, we fully check their references and screen them through the Disclosure and Barring Service, which gives you the additional confidence in our safeguarding measures.
