I started working for helping hands last year after relocating to Gloucester and what a great company it is they made me feel so welcome and could accommodate my hours with no problems. They are a great company to work for and all the office staff are approachable and communicate effectively. I am proud to work at helping hands and the clients are wonderful the staff show empathy, kindness, and really work with a person centred approach I would definitely recommend helping hands to anybody seeking care.

My sister and myself approached Helping Hands to care for our Mum due to their credentials regarding the elderly and also dementia. Mum was reluctant to have carer's but eventually agreed, she wasn't much of a conversationalist but got on very well with all the carers. It was very comforting to see. While we're visiting Mum had a fall before the carers arrived. When the carer's came they were so professional, called for ambulance and made Mum comfortable. After some time in hospital Mum came home for palliative care, we wanted Helping Hands to continue caring for Mum. Which they did with so much compassion, care and understanding. On the day Mum passed away, a lot of the family were at Mum's house, taking turns holding her hand, reassuring her etc. When the carers came we left them to do their job. It must've been so hard for them you could see they were so moved by the amount of emotion in the house. But still they did their job with so much care. Thankyou so much to all the Helping Hands staff, office and carers. Without hesitation I would recommend Helping Hands to anyone needing care.
