My sister and I would like to extend our thanks to the entire team at Colchester Helping Hands for looking after our mother, Isabel, in such a kind and professional manner over the last year or two. I also speak for my mother when I say a special thanks to her main carer, Suzanne ...simply a wonderful person, and also to her weekend carer, Jodie. Not to forget Max in the office and Missy, who also had a special place in my mother's heart. She looked forward very much to the hours spent together with Suzanne, and we are especially grateful for all the hard work the team put in and the company they gave my mother, especially when she was lonely and upset. Helping Hands...altogether a company you can rely on to be there for your elderly loved ones. Thank you so much, all of you.

Cares are always late and never clean up after themselves

Max visited my mother in Colchester + was extremely understanding and helpful. This meant a lot to both of us as I ( her daughter) live in County Durham and was unable be present. My mother is in extreme pain and the whole process has offered us reassurance+ confidence that mum will be supported professionally and caringly.

She was so lovely- calm, kind, patient, non-judgemental and tried very hard to engage with my parents who initially were not very receptive. She explained everything really well at a speed we were able to process. We never felt under pressure to commit to anything there and then or that we were wasting her time with our indecisiveness.

Excellent telephone manner, very caring and sensitive to my father's needs. Listened and gave excellent professional advice.

If there are any problems/issues then they are sorted very quickly once reported.

Alison was very thorough and gave us a good understanding of how HH works. Gave us confidence that the support for the carers and family was very good. Alison was also very good with Mum - sensitive to the situation.. If the carer and the every day contact with HH is as good as Alison we will be pleased.
