Visiting care and home care in Cornwall

Helping Hands provides CQC-regulated home care across Cornwall including Truro, Falmouth, Newquay, Penzance, St Austell, St Ives, Saltash, Bude, and Redruth. Whether you need visiting care a few hours a week, specialist dementia support, or full-time live-in care, our local Cornwall team is here to help you live independently at home. Rated Excellent on Trustpilot, our carers can often begin support within 72 hours of your first call.

Our team can support you with everything from regular check-ins and companionship to specialist care for dementia, Parkinson's, and other complex conditions. Carers can visit from 30 minutes a week or live with you in your home for round-the-clock support. We've been providing home care since 1989 and we're still proudly family-owned. Each care package is tailored to your needs. We'll match you with a fully trained carer based on your condition, personality, and interests. Your carer can help with personal care, medication, housekeeping, getting out and about, or simply provide companionship and reassurance. For those with complex or progressive conditions, our carers can provide specialist support including overnight care and medication administration. We manage the entire process from your first call through to ongoing care, so your family doesn't have to.

Better Than A Care Agency In Cornwall

With a care agency in Cornwall, carers are typically self-employed and responsible for their own training and availability. If your carer is off sick, finding a replacement can fall to you. With Helping Hands, every carer is directly employed by us, DBS checked, and trained at our Centre of Excellence. We carefully match you with someone who suits your personality, routines, and interests, and if your regular carer is unavailable, we arrange cover automatically.

We're regulated by the Care Quality Commission and endorsed as a Centre of Excellence by Skills for Care. Our Cornwall team supports families across Truro, Falmouth, Newquay, Penzance, St Austell, and the surrounding areas. Your care is all-inclusive, so as your needs change, we adapt your support without extra charges.
