Visiting care and home care in Crewe

The name Crewe derives from an Old Welsh word criu, meaning 'weir' or 'crossing', although it is recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086, as Creu.
Although Helping Hands haven't been around quite as long as that, we do have a history dating back to 1989. We really are the homecare specialists because we’ve been supporting people to remain as independent as possible while being cared for within their own home for 36 years. We can offer either visiting or live-in care that’s tailored around you and your routines, ensuring that your preferences are always followed, and you are consistently at the centre of your own care journey.

Better than a care agency in Crewe

Not being a care agency means you don’t have to pay us referral fees and other costs that agencies often demand, so you get better value care as a result. This also means that our carers feel valued in their role and highly motivated to care for you to the highest possible standards, so if you want you and your carer to be focussing on the only thing that matters, which is caring for you, contact us to learn more today.

Dementia care in Crewe

A diagnosis of dementia can be upsetting for both the person and their loved ones, and when the conversation inevitably turns towards future care you need to know that you will be supported by a dementia specialist company. Remaining at home to receive dementia care can be highly beneficial, as being in familiar surroundings can help to reduce confusion and anxiety in some cases, so to discover more about how we could be supporting you to remain in the home you love, call us today.

Respite care for short-term support

Respite care can be very useful when the unforeseen happens, such as an unexpected hospital discharge or your regular carer becoming ill. Short-term support may be necessary for a number of reasons that may cause you to wonder how you or your loved ones will manage, but that’s where Helping Hands come in. We can get a carer into your home within 24 hours in the case of an emergency, so the next time you need care at short notice, please give us a call.
