What does our assisted living support include?

When you partner with us, you can receive different types of care services, including assisted living. At Helping Hands, we provide exceptional, person-centred home care in Darlington and across the UK. We have been doing this for many years, so it’s no wonder we are the UK’s most widely trusted home care provider. Furthermore, we are regulated by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales. This means you’ll receive the very best care you deserve.

Assisted living allows us to support you in your day-to-day life. Our compassionate carers can help prepare meals, take the bins out, explore the community, and even feed your goldfish. Plus, you’ll gain valuable companionship, so you’ll never feel lonely.

Qualified carers providing assisted living in Darlington

Our carers are kind and empathetic individuals who will always go the extra mile for you and your loved ones. They really do make a huge difference in your lives.

All our carers undergo a comprehensive training programme before they arrive at your doorstep to provide care. They are equipped with all the necessary skills to deliver exceptional care to those who need it most. Whether it’s for a few hours or 24 hours a day, we have got you covered.

We also want to ensure you are safe in your own home, which is why we do a strict background check on all our carers. This includes references from previous employers and a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. So, rest assured you’ll be well looked after by knowledgeable and trustworthy individuals.

When to consider assisted living

Assisted living is ideal for those who are living with a condition and need support to keep up with household duties and running errands. Or perhaps you are living on your own and your loved ones aren’t nearby. You may benefit from having someone check in on you from time to time. They can also support you with personal care, companionship and ensure you stay active. Whatever you need, we will always be there for you, no matter what.

How much does assisted living cost?

Assisted living is available from as little as 30 minutes a week with visiting care. So, if you need support a few times a week, you may wish to opt for this type of care. Prices start from £31.00 per hour with a call-out charge of £4.50. This call-out fee covers your carers’ travel mileage.

There is also an option to receive support 24 hours a day with live-in care in Darlington. Prices start from £1,675 per week for a single person and £1,675 per week for a couple.
