At Helping Hands, we’ve been delivering compassionate, person-centred care to our customers for over three decades. In that time, we’ve helped tens of thousands of people across England and Wales to be more independent, confident and happy whilst being able to remain the home that they love. One of the many ways in which we’re able to do this is through our respite care service, which gives you the opportunity to have one of our fantastic carers support you at home in the times when you most need a bit of extra help – whatever that may look like.
It’s not always possible to anticipate when you might require additional care. Respite care exists for those times when you or your loved one find yourself unexpectedly needing an extra pair of hands to help take care of you. Perhaps you have a regular carer but they’re taking a well-earned holiday, or maybe you’ve been discharged from hospital earlier than you’d initially expected. Whatever your reason for requiring a bit of additional support, we at Helping Hands Ealing are normally able to have one of our superb carers in your home within 24 hours of your initial phone call, meaning you won’t have to stress about who’s going to take care of you.
We appreciate that you’ll have needs that are unique to you, and that you’ll also like things to be done in a certain way around your home. Perhaps you’re used to your normal carer doing things a particular way, or you’re living with a medical condition that comes with complex care needs. At Helping Hands, all of our carers are highly trained and fully prepared to deliver bespoke, flexible respite care plans that will meet your needs and exceed your expectations.
We truly believe that, at Helping Hands, we have the very best carers in the industry. That’s because we only recruit people to our care teams who display all the natural traits required to be a great carer – empathy, kindness and dedication. We also make sure all new carers undergo a number of background checks before they join us, as we want to be completely certain that they’ll be a perfect fit for us and for you.
When they start at Helping Hands, every carer participates in our award-winning training programme, and will continue to enrol in regular refresher courses which keep them up to date with the latest industry standards and best practices. And, for your total peace of mind, we make sure all of our care is independently regulated by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales.
