Visiting care and home care in East Sussex
After the Romans departed England, the ancient kingdom of the South Saxons became established in East Sussex in the 5th century AD. The uplands of the area have given up many archeologically important finds since then, some left by the plentiful invaders including the Romans, and the Normans, especially after the Battle of Hastings in 1066. Traditional industries in the area which have now all but disappeared included ironmaking, fishing, and wool, but in their place East Sussex has people working in construction, agriculture, real estate, and many who commute into London daily.
Helping Hands have been supporting people to live as independently as possible in their own homes since we were established in 1989. While we can’t claim a history to rival that of East Sussex, we have been supporting people for decades, which explains why we’re considered one of the UK’s foremost private home care providers. We offer visiting and live-in care to people across the area, all of which is fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and the Care Inspectorate Wales.
