Visiting care and home care in Felixstowe
Felixstowe represents a great day out by the sea, yet there’s so much more to this coastal town than the big blue. Despite receiving no mention in the Domesday Book, that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have historical significance. Lost to the sea in the 18th century and therefore only visible at low tide is The Dip, a Roman Saxon Shore Fort known as Walton Castle. There is also the 12th century site of a former Benedictine Priory, now home to the church of St. Peter and St. Paul.
