What are our care services in Kingswinford?

We offer two types of homecare to our customers – visiting and live-in. Visiting care will see our carers coming to your home at times and durations to suit you, from once a week to several times a day. Live-in care is, as the name suggests, when you’ll have a carer reside in your home with you so that your care can continue around the clock. With both of our services you’ll have superior standards of care delivered to you on a flexible basis to suit you, however with live-in care you ad your loved ones also have the added reassurance of their being someone at home with you 24/7.

Domiciliary care

Delivering domiciliary care is what we do at Helping Hands, every day of the year. It’s what we’ve done since we were founded more than 30 years ago, and what we’ll always continue to do. Domiciliary care is care you receive at home, which means that you can have a totally person-centred experience unlike what you’d get if you were in a residential or care home, and we can provide respite, emergency or nursing care on top of the conditions we support on a day-to-day basis. Our amazing carers will support you with every aspect of your daily routine, including personal care, meal preparation, medication, mobility, housework and so much more, including helping you to access the community when you wish.

Leading Kingswinford live in care experts

Because we’ve been delivering the highest quality homecare for more than three decades we are unsurprisingly considered one of the UK’s leading experts in caring for people at home. We’ve worked hard to establish a branch care network that stretches across the whole of England and Wales and it’s growing bigger all the time, meaning we can care for even more people in the homes they love and want to remain in. Without our amazing carers we couldn’t do any of this though, and we consider them the real heart of Helping Hands; we look after them well though, offering pay and conditions that well exceed the industry average, so they know how much we value them. In addition, we ensure we only have the best people working for us by selecting them carefully and training them thoroughly to build on their existing skills and experience. We also look after you by screening them through the Disclosure and Barring Service and checking their backgrounds rigorously. This means that people who shouldn’t be coming into your home aren’t able to with us. Our fully managed service is also regulated by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales, meaning you and your loved ones can have confidence in our consistent standards of excellent care.
