What does our assisted living support include?

At Helping Hands, we provide exceptional home care in Manchester, including assisted living, which allows our customers to receive support and remain in the comfort of their own homes. For extra peace of mind, we are regulated and monitored by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales.

Our assisted living packages are available on a visiting and live-in basis. So, if you need support for a few days a week or 24 hours a day, we will be sure to find a care package to suit your needs. This means our care is regularly inspected to ensure we provide a compassionate, responsive and well-led service. Our live in care in Manchester team can support you with getting dressed in the mornings, preparing nutritious meals, taking medication, household duties and much more.

Qualified carers providing assisted living In Manchester

All our carers in Manchester work hard to make a real difference in people’s lives so they can live an independent life at home. They are genuinely the most empathetic and kind people you’d meet.

When our carers join the team, they all complete a comprehensive training programme, including modules on manual handling, first aid, safeguarding and using mobility aids, such as hoists. For added reassurance, all our carers undergo a strict background check, including a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, to ensure you are safe in your home.

When to consider this type of support?

If you are struggling with managing household duties due to a condition you are living with or just need an extra pair of hands around the house, then assisted living can be a viable solution for you. Or perhaps your loved ones don’t live nearby and you can benefit from having someone check in on you a few times a week or even run a few errands for you; assisted living might be what you’re looking for. So, no matter what condition you are living with, we will always be there to support you.

How much does assisted living cost?

You can receive assisted living from as little as 30  minutes a week with visiting care. Costs start from £31.00 with a call-out charge of £4.50, which covers your carer’s travel costs.  If you prefer to have round-the-clock support, live-in care costs start from £1,675 per week for a single person and per couple £1,675 per week.

All our care packages are fully tailored and personalised to your needs. After all, when it comes to care, no one size fits all. We know how difficult it can be if you are living with a specific condition, which is why we offer emotional support. Whether that’s a listening ear or a shoulder to lean on, you can always count on us.
