Visiting care and home care in Maryland

Maryland is in the heart of the capital with a multitude of great transport links to the hotspots of London. It was first named ‘Maryland Point’ in 1969 and nowadays is host to its Maryland Station and bustling streets.

We know how much staying in the home you love in Maryland means to you, and we can bring expert care straight to your doorstep. We’re regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), so we’re always growing our service. We’ve been around since 1989, so it’s safe to say we’ve been around the block. With over 150 branches across the UK, we’re proud to be here for you in Maryland.

    High-quality home care in Maryland

We offer high-quality live-in, visiting and respite care whenever you need us. We’re high quality because of how much we care about you, your needs and how we can help. Our range of specialised care approaches and adaptability means we can work with you to form the best care plan with you in the driving seat. We can offer condition-led care to support anything from dementia, cancer, strokes, Parkinson’s and Downe’s syndrome, among much more. Our visiting care starts from just 30 minutes a week to up to 5 weeks, and our respite care is designed if you need short-term, temporary care at your home.

    24/7 live-in care support

Our live-in care might be for you if you need full-time support, 24/7. Our carers are experts at helping you out with any tasks you may need an extra hand with like housekeeping, cleaning, preparing healthy meals, and running errands. We can even help with grocery shopping and help walk your dog around the streets of Maryland Station if needed. While our carers are superb at the day-to-day things, they’re also expertly qualified to handle more medically complex care. Our nursing care can offer support with medication administration, catheter and stoma care, ventilation care, and PEG feeding. Registered nurses train them in the best practices for care and can look after you just as a care home would.

Why Helping Hands is better than a care agency in Maryland

We handpick our carers to match your personality and interests, so you don’t just have a carer living in your home, but a trusted friend and companion. We’re always hearing how our carers and customers are getting on like a house on fire, and we hope you’ll soon be showing off the gems of London with them before you know it. Our carers can also help you with personal care like bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting. We can help create a daily routine for you that can include exercises to help with mobility and help get you out and about in the Maryland community. We even offer emergency care and aim to be at your door within 24 hours.
