Visiting care and home care in Sandwich
Sandwich has a long and varied history and was a port of major importance, one of the original ‘Cinque Ports’ on the south coast. The town has medieval buildings aplenty for those who love historical architecture, and while not as close to the sea as it once was (due to the disappearance of the Wantsum Channel) it is still only a couple of miles away. Undoubtedly most famous for giving its name to the foodstuff popularised by the 4th Earl of Sandwich, John Montagu, the town is a medieval delight with several ancient buildings remaining to this day.
While Helping Hands is not trying to claim a history as long as Sandwich’s, we have been established since 1989, delivering home care to people in Kent on both a visiting and live-in basis. Because all of our home care services are fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and the Care Inspectorate Wales, you and your loved ones can be reassured that you’ll always receive the very highest standards of care delivery.
