Home care Southend-on-Sea

With care visits starting from 30 minutes all the way through to overnight stays, the team are here to provide person-centred care in your home, meaning that you don’t have to worry about the upheaval of moving into residential care and away from the home that you know and love.

Whether you need support with your personal care, household chores or someone just to enjoy a cup of tea and a chat with, the team will work closely with you to gain a full understanding of your needs and preferences, so that we can tailor your support around everything you need to remain happy and healthy at home.

And if your care requirements change or your symptoms begin to progress, our Southend-on-Sea team can quickly adapt to your needs to ensure that you are always receiving the same high-quality care. So if you started your care package to help you with your household chores but you have recently received a diagnosis for a progressive condition, we’ll ensure that we are always ready to put extra support in place as soon as you need it.

Continuous support with live-in care in Southend-on-Sea

The need for live-in care in Southend-on-Sea can arise at any time. It may be that the care you receive is no longer enough to meet your requirements, or perhaps you are living with a progressive condition and you would like more intensive support as the symptoms progress. With live-in care from the team, we’ll ensure that you always have the support you need to enable you to stay in the comfort and familiarity of your own home – regardless of your condition.

Domiciliary support that gives you control of your care

Domiciliary care is quickly becoming a popular way of receiving care, because it enables you to have control over the frequency and intensity of the support you receive. Whether you are living with a condition that affects your mobility and you would like some help with getting out into the community, or you are in your more senior years and you would simply like someone to pop in for a cup of tea and a chat – we’ll work with you to provide a personalised support package that focuses entirely around you and your needs.

Dementia care for total peace of mind

We understand how important it is that you remain in control of your care, which is why the Birmingham home care team can provide the perfect private care package so that you can maintain your usual routine.

Otherwise known as care at home, this level of care will allow you to have the freedom to choose the assistance that you need, when you need it. Regular home visits, from 45 minutes to several hours a day, can be arranged with our Birmingham team to help you with a variety of everyday tasks, including personal care, housekeeping tasks and clinical care, including catheter and stoma management and PEG feeding.

Elderly care to support your independence

Aging is inevitable, but just because we are growing older doesn’t mean we should start making sacrifices to the way we want to live our lives. With a helping hand from our Southend-on-Sea team, you won’t need to give up your home, hobbies or way of life.

Whether you are living with your partner and you are finding it more difficult to support each other like you used to, or you are living alone and you would just like a friendly face to pop in for a cup of tea and a chat every now and again; whatever your requirements are, we’ll be there for you.

Respite care for as long as you need it

Being a carer for your loved one is one of the most rewarding jobs in the world, but taking time out to have some rest and recuperation is vital. We understand that it can be unnerving to leave the care of your loved one in the hands of someone else, but our respite carers around Southend-on-Sea will provide a seamless transition between carers and ensure that your routines are followed to a T, so your loved one is receiving consistent, high-quality care.

Respite care is also available if you are looking for some short-term support for one reason or another. You may be returning home from hospital due to an unexpected illness or injury and would like some support on your road to recovery, or perhaps you are looking to take a weekend trip away with your family but you feel that you could use some extra support whilst you’re away from home. With respite care from the team, we’ll work closely with you to ensure that you have the support you need, for as long as you need it.

Fully qualified carers in Southend-on-Sea

Our Southend-on-Sea carers are committed to only providing the highest level of care possible. And to make sure that they have all the right skills and expertise to support our customers, our carers go through a comprehensive training programme prior to joining the Helping Hands team, covering modules such as moving and handling, safeguarding and personal care. But with their expert training and professional experience aside, each and every one of our carers must have one very important quality to become a part of our team: kindness.

We are the first and only home care provider to be endorsed as a Centre of Excellence by Skills for Care and we are also fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), which means that we ensure that we are always following the most up-to-date practices and providing a safe, efficient and responsive service.
