Home care in Rayleigh
Visiting care and home care in Rayleigh
Rayleigh is a market town with a long history of habitation since prehistoric and Roman times and was later mentioned as a village in the Domesday Book of 1086. Rayleigh Castle is the most significant monument in the town, an early Norman motte and bailey castle, and despite only the embankments remaining today, it still dominates the town centre.

Meet the Rayleigh care team
Branch Care Manager
I joined the care industry around nine years ago, not knowing that it would become a career and a job that I love. I spend a lot of time out in the community visiting customers and potential customers, and assessing our staff to ensure they are always delivering the best care. I spend time with the branch staff looking into ways to better the service and celebrate all the good work that our carers do. I think that Helping Hands are a brilliant company to work for, they have many benefits for their staff, and support networks for staff and customers throughout their journeys with the company. I have recently become a Mum for the first time so like to spend my free time with my son and doing things with him. I enjoy reading and learning and like to think I am generally a person who looks at life positively.

Keeping to familiar and comforting routines can be beneficial with dementia care and remaining in the home that you love can even help to reduce anxiety and confusion.
