Visiting care and home care in Stafford
Stafford was founded about 700AD and was quickly an important centre for grain tribute, before it was commandeered in 913 by Æthelflæd, a powerful Anglo-Saxon woman who was the daughter of Alfred the Great. She constructed a fortification where Stafford Ware pottery began to be produced in the area. One of her military campaign bases, archaeological digs in the area have produced Stafford Ware, food production areas, weaponry, and coins.
We love history at Helping Hands, considering our own is now well into its fourth decade, and while not as long as Stafford’s, we have delivered exceptional care for our customers continuously since 1989. Our visiting and live-in care is designed to our customers’ needs and fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales, meaning you and your loved ones can be completely reassured.
